![]() ![]() The smaller cut the Dixon is, the narrower it is and the smaller the tires. It is not one I would want unless I had a very small lawn with "stuff" to mow around. Well I really hate to answer that question because I expect you have or are looking at one. I’ve already seen how some people let things go until the last possible date, rather than trying to get things moving ahead of time, so there’s no rush. ![]() ![]() ![]() STK – I come from a culture of planning in detail, so it’s frustrating being in a leadership position in a volunteer group, where they’re not used to being organized. And with some fabrics, I’ve had the problem of the quilt sliding towards the bottom end, and I thought I should have put in a couple of Velcro strips at the top, to prevent that. Apparently there’s no “size police” to tell duvet manufacturers that their “king” really isn’t! Guess I was lucky that I was just a volunteer newsletter editor/publisher, I could quit when it stopped being fun! :) Judy M – All of my quilt covers (aka “duvet”) I made myself from flat sheets. And sometimes it’s easier for a manufacturer to make a single size they say fits queen & king, than bother making 2 different sizes. I’m sure that mattress sizes are fairly standard, but not linens. Kimdee – This gets back to my pet peeve about “standard sizes”. ![]()
